Gustavo Di Lallo

Researcher at the Department of Biology, University of Rome Tor Vergata.

I graduated in Biological Science at the Sapienza University of Rome, defending a thesis in Microbiology. Then I moved to Naples, at the Nucleic Acid Centre of the National Research Council, where I received several scholarships that allowed me to continue to work as a microbiologist. After a brief period in St. Louis, USA, I returned to Rome, where I'm working as a researcher at the Tor Vergata University since 1995. I spent several year studying Escherichia coli and its division process, until I was fortunate enough to meet Thaller and Migliore and, fascinated above all by the variety of the scientific issues they approach in their research works, I began a collaboration with them that I hope will be fruitful and lasting.
I have spent most of my free time doing something that made me feel really "free": paragliding.
Today, I happily feel me a bit less free because of Sara and Andrea, my sons, who changed my vision of the world.
